1.2.9 Accuracy

The accuracy of the colorimetric measurements is expressed in

CIELAB units below:

1.3 INPUT/OUTPUT (I/O)

Input/Output (I/O) communications are provided via a RS-232C

Serial port with automatic baud rate of the host computer over the

range of 300-38.4K baud.

The color-view™ spectrophotometer is designed to communicate with

any computer which utilizes an industry standard RS-232C interface

in the DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) configuration. An

appropriate serial communications cable is required to interface with

Windows/Intel

Personal Computers. The color-view™

spectrophotometer has an interface for a 25 pin male D connector

(such a connector is provided for example on the male end of a DB25

“straight through” serial cable with a 25 pin female connector for

connection to the COM port of the host computer.)
