Data Transfer

• Activate Macros:

Microsoft Excel 2000/2003 32bit: Tool – Macro – Security – Medium

➔ Conﬁrm “Enable Macros” when opening color-Standard-link

Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 32bit: Options – Trust Center –

Trust Center Settings –- Macro Settings – Enable all macros

➔ Buttons must be activated as “Add Ins”

• Connect the spectro-guide / color-guide with the PC

Note: When using a USB converter, the driver must be installed

ﬁrst without the converter being plugged in.

General Settings

Function Overview

To Instrument Sends selected standards to instrument

From Instrument Transfers saved standards from instrument

Delete Sheet Deletes all data in the selected worksheet

Delete Row Deletes all rows or one selected row

Edit Row Edits an existing standard

Input standard Creates a new standard

Calculate Tolerances Calculates tolerances based on accepted samples

Sort Sorts selected data

Conﬁguration Setup instrument connection – Select Language

“From Instrument”

• Transfers the standard memory of the instrument

• Click on the “From Instrument“ button

• Select standards

➔ “All” = Transfers all saved standards

➔ “Select” = Transfers only selected standards

“To Instrument”

• Transfers standards from color-Standard-link to instrument

• Select standards and Click on the “To Instrument“ button

• If the standard already exists in the instrument, it can either be

overwritten or a new name can be input.
