10.5 Calibration

Chk Green

From the “Options” menu, use the

button to move the cursor to the “Calibr.” option.

The submenu opens when you press the Operate

button. The “chk green” option is preselected.

Take the green test standard and open the lid.

Position the instrument so that the display points in

the direction of the open lid and the front edge of the

instrument is parallel to the edge of the lid. Press

the Operate button.

At this point, you will be prompted to measure the

green test standard.

You will then see a message indicating whether the

calibration is still valid. If the message

Please calibrate!

appears, the calibration must be performed with the

black and white standards (see Chapter 6 –

Calibrate).
