Standard Management with BYK-mac link

... to pre-define standard settings (name, n, color system etc.) on PC

1. Definiton of standard settings

• Select Edit Standard and create a new or edit existing standard

• Enter standard name

2. Create new standard

• Enter the desired measurement and display settings:

Color (1)

Select color difference, color system,

angles, illuminant/observer

Effect (2)

Select effect scales (max. 10)

Statistic (3)

Define number of readings or select SMC:

Min. # of readings = n

Standard

and n

Sample

Max. # of readings = 20 (default)

Special options (4)

Select dFlop, dmax, set minimum and

maximum temperature to alert alarm

• Save with OK

 Standard name is automatically transferred to standard transfer

sheet and ready for transfer to instrument

3. Transfer standard template settings to instrument

• Transfer settings to BYK-mac with “Send Standards”

4. Measure standards with BYK-mac
